ℹ️ About NTE on PC

NTE: Neverness to Everness is built on Unreal Engine 5, supporting Lumen, Nanite, Virtual Shadow Maps, and other next-gen features. The PC client enables the full RT menu by default only on high-end GPUs, but mid-range cards can unlock hidden options using a third-party tool paired with OptiScaler.

Enable full RT options on mid-range GPUs

Download the Tool

Go to GitHub and download NTERayTracingPanel.exe (third-party unlock tool).

Run as Admin

Right-click and select 'Run as Administrator'. The tool opens a browser tab at 127.0.0.1:22642.

Set Game Path

In the Game Path card, select your install folder, e.g. C:\Program Files\Neverness To Everness\NTEGlobal.

Install OptiScaler

In the OptiScaler card, click Download / Prepare and wait for it to finish.

Select GPU Profile

Recommended: RTX 5080M preset. Keep mode on default DXGI unless it fails.

Install Unlock

Click Backup and Install. Launch the game—full ray tracing options should now appear in Settings → Graphics.
